The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has  announced to support decision of the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandhak Committee (SGPC) to reject Congress government appointed Justice Ranjit Singh (retd.) Commission in Punjab to probe sacrilege incidents occurred in the state of Punjab and said that one again  conspiracy hatched by the Congress  party to  weaken top sikh institutions has been exposed before the people. Addressing a joint press conference here today, the DSGMC General Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Senior Vice President S. Harmeet Singh Kalka, Senior leader Avtar Singh Hit, Kuldeep Singh Bhogal, Joint Secretary Amarjit Singh Pappu and other leaders said that since the time of Indira Gandhi Congress party was trying to weaken holiest places of sikh religion including top institutions Sri Akal Takht Sahib and once again this party through Justice Ranjit Singh Commission has hatched a conspiracy against Sri Akal Takht Sahib and SGPC. They said that Justice Ranjit Singh Commission is working as a puppet for the Congress  party and acts as per its dictates. They said that  DSGMC fully supports and endorses the decision of the SGPC to out rightly reject the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission and  Congress party will not be allowed to succeed with its conspiracies. They said that motive of the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission is to cause maximum damage to the image of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and SGPC, so it hatched conspiracy to issue summons.

They said that Justice Ranjit Singh Commission was entrusted with the work on enquiry of unfortunate incidents of sacrilege occurred in Punjab but instead of doing this work it is following political dictates of the Congress party. They said that is it wanted to conduct probe thoroughly then it should have gone to the place where these unfortunate incidents occurred and meet the real witnesses of the incidents but this work was never on its agenda. They said that when the SAD-BJP combine was in power Congress had accused it on these incidents but today more than 128 incidents have been occurred in the state. He said that Congress government was not punishing the guilty as both the Congress and AAP had got political gains with leveling political accusations on this very sensitive issue. They said that today congress government was trying to save these culprits involved in sacrilege incidents. The leaders warned Justice Ranjit Singh Commission to desist from interfering in these institutions and said that otherwise his name will be written in black in the history. On the occasion a message from President S. Manjit Singh GK, who is on foreign tour, was   read out in which he has fully supported the DSGMC decision to support SGPC.Others prominent present on the occasion included Parmjit Singh Ranu Chairman Dharam Prachar Committee, Vikramjit Singh Sahni, Amarjit Singh Fateh Nagar, Gurmeet Singh Bhatia, Manjit Singh Aulakh, Harjit Singh Pappa, Nishan Singh Mann, Swaran Singh Brar, Kuldeep Singh Sahni, Harjit Singh Bedi besides others.
