Universal Group of Institutions organised lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony of ANM nursing students. Surjeet Kaur, Registrar, Punjab Nurses Registration Council was chief guest at the moment .The ceremony commenced with the budding nurses marching on the stage and lighting of lamp was followed by oath taking ceremony. The students took oath to uphold the values of the profession. The students presented a colourful variety of entertainment program, which included tradition dance, skit, mono acting, fusion dance, songs etc.Chief Guest Registrar Surjeet Kaur motivated the students to practice their profession with honesty and dedication. He encouraged students to flourish in life and work hard and give quality of care to patients. Dr. Gurpreet Singh Chairman Universal Group in his address to the gathering appreciated the nursing service education to the student. He further added that a nurse needs to be dedicated sincere, honesty and updated and encouraged the students to serve the humanity with compassion and empathy. He further informed that nurses of UGI are trained and Skilled to provide Nursing care with the essence of Humanitarian concern. Parbhjot Kaur, Director Academic, Principals & Deans of Universal group of institutes also motivated the students to practice their profession with honest and dedication. Director Prahjot Kaur encouraged students to flourish in life, do work hard and give quality of care to patients.
