An 11 member delegation of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, led by its President Sh. G.A. Mir, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today. The delegation presented a memorandum which reflects on the ground situation preceding, during and consequent to the Parliamentary By-election for Srinagar seat which was held on 9th April during which voting could not take place in a number of booths in district Budgam and, besides, the law and order disturbances led to the death of 8 persons.Governor informed the delegation that their memorandum would be duly forwarded to the Chief Election Commission and Union Home Ministry.The delegation comprised  Sh. Nawang Rigzin Jora, Sh. Sham Lal Sharma, Sh. Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Sh. Mula Ram, Sh. Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Sh. Haji Abdul Rashid, Sh. Ravinder Sharma, Sh. Usmaan Majid, Sh. Mohd. Amin Bhat, and Sh. Gulzar Ahmed.
