A meeting was held at Darbar Sahib, Sarai at Tarn Taran here today. A big gathering gathered there and It was held for chalking out all the arrangements for holy festival and Shrimoni Akali Dal Conference, Baisakhi at Diwan hall, 11:00 A. M at Chola Sahib in Tarn Taran. As usual this conference shall be presided over by Ranjit Singh Brahmpura Member Parliament of Khadoor Sahib Constituency. The meeting was addressed by Ravinder Singh Brahmpura former MLA (Khadoor Sahib) and son of Ranjit Singh Brahmpura. In a statement, "While addressing the huge gathered he advised, requested and directed all the party workers to put hard labour for the "Shrimoni Akali Dal" to bring up word the party ". He further added that," In case of any pressure or injustice is done to them by Congress party and their workers they should feel free to contact us and bring there difficulty and problem to our notice. So that we may resolve the problem and grief ".
He further pointed that," More than one month has passed neither Congress MLA, Ramanjit Singh Sikki from Khadoor Sahib nor chief minister Capt. Amarinder Singh has not come to say their thanks to people of assembly constituencies of punjab, and they have also forgot Almighty God even they didn't come to Darbar Sahib, Amritsar to pay their thanks and homages and obeisance to almighty god".He further express the views that, " Congress party will not have to banned all previous welfare schemes that provided by Shrimoni Akali Dal and present punjab government will fulfills the promises committed by them in their manifesto ".He also added, "The party president and former Deputy chief minister, Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal has visited 27-28 Assembly Constituencies of Punjab to say thanks to voters and supporters and it is expected that Sukhbir Singh Badal shall be visiting our constituency in near future ".
