Universal Group of Institutions organised Sports Day at its campus .More than 300 students of 6 colleges participated in kabbadi, volleyball, long jump, shot put and athletics 100,400, 800,1500 mts races for boys and girls. Sports day begin with flag March .All the heats and quarterfinal complete on first day of the meet. The second day began with the semi-finals of kabbadi and volleyball. In finals UIET and UIMT play in volleyball and in kabbadi UIET and UPC play. In between different games were also arranged for faculty members .A cricket game was played by UIET and UPC male faculty of 10 overs. UPC faculties won the match. Tug of war was also arranged for female faculties. These events were organized on knock out basis. The games witnessed fierce competition and enthralling performances by the athletes.Campion College at the moment was declared UIMT with maximum first winning Position where as Runner up College was UICT. Deepak 6th Semester Civil engineering was declared Best Athete at the moment. Chairman UGI Dr. Gurpreet Singh said that students should learn the art of team building and leadership which will help them in their professional career. He also appreciated the huge participation students.
