Oakridge International School students qualified for the District Athletic Meet

Students of Oakridge International School competed in the Zonal Athletic Meet. In Under 14 category, Anmol bagged gold medal in 100m sprint and Sujal Thakur secured bronze medal in 100m sprint. In under 17 boys category, Kashish kumar Chhabra stole away the show when he won the  gold medal in 100m sprint , silver medal in 400m race , bronze medal in 200m race . Karanvir Singh Natt brought laurels by winning   gold medal in javelin throw, silver medal in discus throw and bronze medal in High jump. In same age category, Manohar Singh bagged gold medal in shot put. Anmol, Karanvir Singh Natt , Kashish kumar Chhabra and Manohar Singh also qualified  for the District  Athletic Meet.Congratulating the athletes the school Principal Ramnjit Ghuman said that the real victory is in having done your best. If you are giving your best, you will win. According to her participating in sport provides students with social, cultural and educational opportunities, encouraging healthy lifestyles, the development of life skills and lifelong friendships.
