Junior Oakmun organised at Oakridge International School. Many cultural Activities were also organised at the moment for entertainment. Various schools i.e. Chitkara International School, AKSIPS, Delhi  Public School, Saupin’s School, Mohali, Smart Wonders School, St.  Johns  and  St. Joseph  from the tricity participated in oakmun. The delegates represented different countries under the four committees namely UNESCO, HRC,WHO, GA. Students not only researched important world problems with other delegates from different schools but also found solutions with a view to achieving peace and stability and creating a better world for the future.The conference was the exact simulation of The United Nations Proceedings. The students posing as the delegates from countries across the world greatly enhanced their research and communication skills. The committees were chaired and run by high-school students Anshuman Sethi, Pranav Joshi , and Siddhant  Goyal posing as Executive. 

Gurnoor Brar and Alisha Singh were respectively the Secretary General and Director General .The  students who headed different committees were UNESCO by Harnoor and Rajinder, HRC by Harman and Niharika, WHO by Gurvi and Tanisha, General Assembly by Taman and Anam. Honourable mention, Special Mention, Best Position Paper, Best Speaker and Best Delegate were five categories under which delegates were awarded.Principal of the School Ramanjit Ghuman said while speaking on the moment that Debates are a staple of middle. Debating skills raise children's confidence and self-esteem.It was one unique experience for the students take part in the various simulations of UN and experience how the international delegates think, respond and debate on global issues and help children in understanding international policy matters.
