Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik on Monday said that Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory and its people are striving for their birth right of freedom and self-determination.In a statement issued to KNS, the JKLF spokesman while quoting the party chief as saying that “People who claim to have so-called proprietary rights on this land are living in fool’s paradise. No one can even dream of a lasting peace and prosperity in south Asia without the resolution of this issue.”JKLF chairman said that the history of Kashmir and Kashmiris is filled with sagas of humanity and humanism. “We as a nation have been peace loving, caring, non-communal and creative but it is the illegal occupation of tyrants that has changed this heavenly land into a hell.”Referring to 1947 partition of India, Malik said, “When whole subcontinent was sinking in human blood and communal rights and killings had become an order of the day, Kashmiris despite high provocation from massacre of lakhs of Jammu Muslims by Hindu chauvinists, safeguarded communal harmony here and even father of Indian nation Mahatma Ghandi had to say that it was Kashmir where one could see the only ray of hope for humanity.”JKLF chairman said that Kashmiris love humanity but the tyrants who have illegally occupied our land using their military might have shamed humanity in Kashmir by killing innocents in cold blood, by injuring thousands and taking eye sight of hundreds.

He said that today Indian leaders with one voice say that they cannot forget the blood of 18 soldiers who lost their lives in Uri. “Yes, human life is precious be it of a soldier or commoner and loving and saving human lives should be priority but how can they one other hand tell us to forget our lakh’s of innocents who fell to their bullets and bombs in Jammu Kashmir,” asked Malik. He said that during last seventy years of illegal occupation Kashmiris lost lakh’s of people during at the hands of Indians among whom about 100 have fallen to the bullets and pellets of Indian security forces during last 3 months, so who more than us can feel the agony and pain of losing loved ones can feel the agony and pain of losing their loved ones.

Malik said that if human blood is same and humanity is one, how Indian leaders and the international community can differentiate between these and how can they evade from Kashmiris who are losing their lives on daily basis.JKLF chief said that Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute and its people are striving and sacrificing for their birth right of freedom and self-determination and people who self-acclaim to have proprietary rights on this land are only living in fool’s paradise. “Kashmir belongs to the people of Jammu Kashmir and no one can dream of lasting peace, prosperity and stability of south Asia without resolving this issue and dispute,” Malik said.

While condemning the ongoing oppression in Jammu Kashmir, JKLF incarcerated chairman said that “yesterday blood thirsty Indian forces massacred dozens of horses belonging to nomads at Frisal Yaripora. This is height of tyrannical behavior of Indian forces who for their lust of blood are not sparing even animals now.”Meanwhile JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, JKLF zonal senior vice president Muhammad Yasin Butt and senior resistance member Muhammad Amin Magloo who were arrested by police task force(SOG) on 24th and 25th September respectively and where lodged at SOG camp air cargo were last evening shifted to police station Rajbagh. The JKLF spokesman said that today all the three were again shifted to SOG camp Air Cargo and all these known political leaders are in custody of police task force. While strongly condemning their arrest by SOG, JKLF chairman has said that both Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt and Muhammad Yasin Butt are suffering from different ailments and have to take lifesaving drugs on regular basis. He said that already JKLF zonal president, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, JKLF activists Fayaz Ahmad Mir of Ganderbal, Shabir Ahmad Ganaie of Kakapora Pulwama and many others have been booked under PSA JKLF vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi continue to remain incarcerated at Humhama detention center.Condemning the arrest of known human rights activist Khuram Pervaiz under black law PSA, he said that terrorizing peaceful political workers and leaders and even human rights activists has exposed the tall claims of democracy and battle of ideas. He appealed ICRC and other internal forums to intervene and save innocent people of Jammu Kashmir from the wrath of Indian rulers and their Kashmiri stooges.
