While condemning the use of pellet guns and ‘brutal forces’ against the unarmed protesters in Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Liberation Party (JKDLP) chief, Hashim Qureshi on Thursday said that the India has exposed its democracy by killing and maiming Kashmiris from past 55 days.In a statement issued to KNS, Qureshi said, “The use of bullets, pellets and tear gas shells on peaceful protestors in Kashmir is glaring example of government brutality thereby the democracy of India has also been exposed due to such kind of happenings in Kashmir.”While condemning the civilian killings in Kashmir, Qureshi said, “So far, 71 people were killed while thousands of people have been maimed by the forces. Besides, unity, people of Kashmir should also help each other during these days to defeat the enemies of ongoing movement.”He appealed people of Kashmir to don’t forget the sacrifices given by the people since years.JKDLP chief said that people should also remain cautious about the agents who are trying to sabotage the ongoing movement.
