Two civilians were Friday killed by forces in Budgam district during clashes between protesters and the former after Friday congregational prayers.The civilians were identified as Muhammad Maqbool Wagay of Chadoora and Zahoor Ahmad, 20, of Beerwah in Budgam district.A police official in the district, whishing not to be named, told KNS that Wagay and Zahoor were killed during protests in the district after Friday prayers.Zahoor was declared brought dead by the doctors in SMHS hospital, doctors in SMHS hospital told KNS. As people taking body of Zahoor in an ambulance to be carried home, CRPF and police asked the people to give the body of Zahoor to them. But people refused them. However, the forces went berserk and barged into the hospital. Attendants in the hospital said that the CRPF fired teargas shells into the hospital and thrashed several of them.“The CRPF entered through Casualty and OPD gates of the hospital, and started beating attendants,” they said.Meanwhile, intense clashes broke across the Valley after Friday prayers in which hundreds of protesters were injured. People in across the Valley held protest rallies today afternoon. The separatist leadership had called for Hazratbal Dargah chalo to protest the civilian killings.

Atleast 60 civilians have been injured during clashes between protesters and forces after Fridaycongregational prayers in North Kashmir. Among them three have been referred to Srinagar.As per KNS correspondent from Langate, residents took a rally toward Ganapora, Kralgund, where the locals had called for a protest gathering. However, CRPF and Police did not allow them to move ahead, which resulted in clashes in Lanagate and Ganapora, Kralgund between the protesters and forces.“Nearly 32 protesters were injured in Langate and Ganapora. And three of them with pellet injuries have been referred to Srinagar for treatment,” he said.10 civilians were injured in Zurhama, Kralpora and Jamia Qadeem Mir Mohalla in Kupwara. Two of the injured have been referred to Srinagar.Locals in Kupwara alleged that forces vandalized Community hospital Kupwara and thrashed patients and attendant in there.

Atleast 30 protesters have been injured in Sopore during clashes after Friday prayers.Of the injured four, three of them having pellet injuries, have been rushed to Srinagar.Reports from Shopian said that four persons were injured during clashes between protesters and forces in Meemendar area. One of them has been critically injured.At least 30 civilians were injured in clashes between protesters and government forces in Chadoora in Budgam district on Friday. Five among the injured have been shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.At least 20 civilians were injured in clashes between protesters and government forces in Ganderbal on Friday.Meanwhile, Congress leader from Eidgah, Imtiyaz Ahmad told KNS that CRPF and police has beaten to pulp a man, Riyaz Ahmad Hakeem, in Eidgah. “Hakeem was not participating in any protest, as no protests were going on there. He was later admitted to a hospital,” Imtiyaz Ahmad said. “I condemn the beating of the innocent Hakeem,” he added.The report was filed at 7.30 pm. (KNS)
