Chairperson of Dukhatarn-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Saturday urged the government and non-government employees associations and trade unions to stand united with people and declare their participation in the ongoing resistance movement.“All employees associations including EJAC, KUTA and others and all the trade unions must stand up and should join hands with the people of Jammu and Kashmir in this fight against the Indian occupation,” she said.Andrabi said that before defying any programme, these associations must keep in mind that in the past 22 days, at least 60 of Kashmiris including women have sacrificed their lives and more than 200 person have lost their eyesight.Besides thousands of others have been injured, she said.“The way people have responded is a proof that Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir stand united to free from the slavery of India and take this resistance movement to its logical conclusion.”

She said that these organisations shouldn’t be intimidated by the threats by pro-India lobby and shouldn’t violate any programmes announced by the pro-resistance leadership. She said that since the martyrdom Burhan Muzaffar Wani, the people of Kashmir have taken the ongoing resistance movement to another level by offering a stiff resistance to the brutalities unleashed by the Indian occupational forces from the past 22 days.“So we must remember, the spate of these killings and will only stop when we will unanimously resist the brutal Indian occupation of JK.”She further called for a complete social boycott of the pro-India politicians and their activists as already announced by the resistance leadership. “We must implement this call in letter and spirit so that these anti-Kashmir forces either leave the Valley or join the resistance movement as happened in 1989,” she added.“By implementing the social boycott, all these black sheep will be exposed and will be forced to leave from here,” she added.

She further appealed people to march to the Martyrs Graveyards in their respective areas and should pledge to take the movement, for which lakhs of Kashmiris have sacrificed their lives, to its logical conclusion. “People should also paint every road and every wall in Kashmir with pro-resistance and anti-India graffiti to show to the world that we stand united against the brutal Indian occupation,” she added. She further said that in wake of the Jamia Masjid Chalo call on Friday, Indian occupational forces unleashed yet another phase of barbarity and injured hundreds of our people. “Many injured were not even allowed to treatment and were lodged in police stations across the Valley.”  Andrabi also said that like the people of Habba Kadal and Chattabal, people should come out to protest and fail any attempt of police to arrest minor children during nocturnal raids. “Why should our children suffer when all of us are struggling for a similar goal? So, if police comes to arrest our children during the night, everyone in the locality must come out and protest to fail these cowardly acts of police,” she added.
