MLA Langate Er Rasheed has said that security agencies seem to have learned no lessons from whatsoever has been happening in the streets of Kashmir since last 20 days.Er Rasheed said this during his visit to Monabal area in Nowgam sector, where four militants were killed and police and army claimed to have apprehended a militant namely Bahadur Ali alive.According to a statement issued to KNS, Er Rasheed visited the families of injured persons who were injured after protests broke out yesterday in the area against the killings of militants.Speaking on the occasion Er Rasheed said that while Burhan Wani’s death should have made the security agencies and the Indian state understand that killing militants is not solution to the problem but it gives people more energy, will and commitment to carry forward the resistance movement, they seem to be interested in killing militants only to mislead themselves and get perks, privileges, promotions and incentives.

Er Rasheed said, “Rather reading writing on the wall the security agencies are trying to continue playing their dirty game as is evident from the recent episode in which security agencies claimed to have killed four militants and arrested one. May one ask these stooges why couldn’t they arrest all the five militants and what was the reason to apprehend just one and use him as a propaganda tool on Indian TV channels against the indigenous resistance movement of Kashmiris? While army and police killed Burhan inside a room it is strange that they claim to have apprehended a Pakistani militant in an open encounter in Monabal area of Nowgam.”Er Rasheed condemned police action on the protestors and added that it is for GoI to introspect that why people in thousands joined funeral of foreign militants in the area and snatched the dead bodies from the army, and added that it proves killing militants is going to prove counterproductive and the only way forward is a peaceful settlement to Kashmir dispute.
