Several members raised issues of public importance during Zero Hour in the House today

.Mr. Zaffar Iqbal Manhas said that revenue generated by Waqaf Board should be utilized for development of education sector and for upliftment of poor. While asking for the amalgamation of Waqaf Board and Waqaf Council, 

Mr. Manhas also urged to make the system vibrant and transparent.

Mr. Vibod Gupta said that Government should release the list of new Angawari Centres to be established in State. He requested for the release of pension to people who are registered with Social Welfare Department under various schemes.

Mr. Gulam Nabi Monga urged Government to make immediate arrangements for providing potable water to people living in Old Srinagar City.

Mr. Sofi Yusuf said that illegal constructions at tourist places should be stopped at an earliest.

Mr. Vikramaditya Singh asked Government to update the House with the current situation of Jammu post RoopNagar Temple incident.

Mr. Saif-Ud-Din Bhat requested for providing water tankers in Khan Sahib area, besides cleaning of water pipes so that people  get potable water.

Mr. Noor Hussain said that Government should make arrangements for arranging drinking water for Gujjar basti in Samba area.

Mr. Naresh Kumar Gutpa said that various Development Authorities should make  arrangements for people working on casual basis in various parks at tourist spots.

Dr. Shahnaz Ganaie urged Government to move its record from Poonch Fort to any other safe place.

Mr. Ramesh Arora urged Government to constitute a Minority Commission in the State.

Mr. Yasir Reshi said that mandate of the Government Committees made for development of Agriculture should also be extended to Horticulture.

Mr. Khursheed Alam said that Government should conduct  interviews of advertised posts at an earliest.

Mr. Firdous Tak appealed that  date of JKPSC exams should be changed as it coincides with National Eligibility Test. He also asked to address the water shortage issue in Kishtawar.

Mr. Sham Lal Bhagat requested for sending doctor to hospital in Assar area in Doda district.

Mr. Surinder Choudhary urged Government to streamline the fee structure of private schools.

Mr. Sajjad Kichloo requested for providing basic amenities including scheduled power, potable water to Chenab Valley residents.

Mr. Ajat Shatru said that Government should fix criteria for regulation of fee structure private schools.

Mr. Charanjeet Singh said that local industrialists should be provided  various concessions in sales, and excise tax.

Mr. Ashok Khajuria asked for taking steps to promote Punjabi language.

Mr. Jughal Kishore said that the donations collected by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board should be spent on developmental works. He said locals, especially people from BPL category should be able to avail medical facilities from Super Specialist Hospital in Katra.
