Senior Pro-freedom leader and Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat was Thursday accorded warm and rousing reception at Islamabad Pakistan.According to a statement issued to KNS, Zaffer Akbar Bhat is heading 14-member delegation that is scheduled to attend international Kashmir Seminar in the capital.Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Vice Chairman Tufail Altaf Bhat welcomed the delegation comprising students, journalists, political leaders, intellectuals and social activists. Those who called on Zaffer Akbar Bhat in Islamabad including former convener of AJK-APHC Mehmood Ahmad Sagar, Advisor to AJK Prime Minister Murtaza Durani, Jammat-e-Islami external affairs In-Charge ghulam Nabi Nowsheri, Haji Sanullah Dar, Altaf Hussain Wani, Chairman Kashmir London Center Prof Nazir Ahmad Shawl, Hussain Khateeb, Hurriyat leaders Faiz Naqashbani, Shameema Shwal, Raja Khadim Hussain, Sheikh Muteen Hussain, Ghulam Hassan Malik, Ghulam Hassan Beg, Mohd Younis Malik, Tahreek Haq Khudariyat Chairman Raja Najhat Hussain, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Bhat, Advocate Parvaiz, Industrialist Mehmood Ahmad, Hamid Jameel Kashmiri, Abdul Majeed Malik, Abdul Majeed Lone, renowned Journalist Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, Mohd-u-din Dar, Khalid Jibran, Ahsan Turabi, MAJ (R) Abdul Qayoom Beg, and Abdul Hanan.

Interacting with the visiting personalities, Zaffer Akbar Bhat said that Kashmir freedom struggle is at a very crucial justice and urgently needs that attention of world community. He said that peace of whole south Asian is linked with the peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute. Zaffer said India is committing grave human rights violations on daily basis and so, real face of the country needs to be uncovered before the world community. He also briefed them about the anti-Kashmir and anti-freedom movement policies of Indian under which non-Kashmiris are being settled in the state. Zaffer said that such agenda’s and ideas needs to be resisted at any cost.He said that Hurriyat leadership has never opposed dialogue process but it should be meaning full and result oriented. Zaffer marinated that Kashmiris are basic party to Kashmir dispute and should be taken on board for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute.Those who are in the visiting delegation include renowned sikh leader Nrinder Singh Khalsa, Journalist Shah Abbas, Showket Nanda, Farzana Mumtaz, Sajjad Rasool, Bilal Ahmad Bhat, Basarat Hussain Mumtaz, Arshie Javed and Touseef Mir.On the occasion, Sikh leader Nrinder Singh Khalsa expressed imsense happiness on visiting Pakistan and said that they will able to put their view point in front of the world community through the International Kashmir Conference being held tomorrow.
