Windstorm jolts Tangdarh , Government Middle school, SD hospital damaged

A government middle school as well as the Sub district hospital Tangdarh was Thursday damaged due to the violent wind that wreaked havoc in Tandardh village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.According to KNS correspondent, in Faizabad Dildar village of Tangdarh area, the violent wind wreaked havoc among the residents.“In the violent wind, a Government Middle school as well the windowpanes of the Sub District hospital were damaged after an almond tree fell on the school building,” locals said.Locals said that the strong wind leaves thousands of people without power supply amid smashed rooftops, uprooted trees and toppled power lines.The area according to KNS correspondent also received heavy rains after the violent wind thereby inundated the main roads as well as the link roads of villages.According to KNS correspondent, no loss of life or injury was reported during the violent wind.
