With the opening of the offices in Srinagar on Annual Durbar move, the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today inspected the offices of the Power development Department (PDD) and Housing and Urban Development Department (HUDD) in the Civil Secretariat here.Minister of State for PDD, Syed Farooq Ahmed Andrabi, Commissioner/Secretary PDD, Mr Dheeraj Gupta and other senior officers also accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister.
Dr Singh went around the departments and interacted with the employees there. He maintained that the government is committed to maintain employee-friendly approach and in this regard necessary instructions have already been passed to the concerned. He said employees should not face any inconvenience vis-à-vis accommodation and transport facilities. Besides, all other issues related to the employee fraternity would be solved in a time bound manner, he added.
