Mir joined AICC President Madam Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul in a Protest March in New Delhi today. In a statement issued to KNS, spokesman said that the march was organized by AICC to lodge a strong protest against the anti Congress campaign launched by BJP besides the anti people policies of the NDA Government towards the people of the Country. The protest march started from Janter Manter New Delhi today morning. On this occasion PCC Chief G A Mir said that Congress Party under the Leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi is strong enough and will continue to fight against the wrong policies of NDA Govt, the Party (Congress) won’t allow BJP to harm the democratic set up in the Country by destabilizing the elected State Governments, he said.He said that BJP in order to settle political scores with the Congress Party, destabilized the Congress Governments in Uttrakhand and Arunachal by using money power, which is very unfortunate, shameful and undemocratic act on the part of BJP leadership.“Congress Party while having never indulged in any kind of political vendetta, always strengthened non Congress Governments and ensured overall development of the States and people,” Mir added.
