Mother’s day was celebrated at The Millennium School, Phase-5, Mohali.  Parents of junior wing participated in the function and enjoyed their loved ones representing different programs on the stage. Whereas senior students sang songs related to Mother Day. Apart from that in Culture programme different dance items were also performed .students also presents gifts and cards made by them to their mothers to show their love and gratification .Some interesting games were also organised at the moment such as musical chairs. At the time greeting card making, flower arrangement, sandwich and salad making competition were also organized for parents.

Principal Mrs Parminder Duggal  of the School said at the moment that mothers are godly image for children who spend their whole life to bring up their children without any selfishness. She further added nevertheless now a days time has changed .Mothers are working, apart from taking care of their kids but still they put every effort to care them. She further added that children are future of every country so parents should bring up their children with tender care.  Arrangement of refreshment was also made at the moment. In house doctor Dr Somlata shared valuable tips on health and hygiene and how it should be adopted as an integral part of our lives.
