To throw light on the spiritual aspects of human relationships, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh organized an interactive session with a team of Brahmakumari’s from various parts including Mount Abu, Maharashtra, Rajpura etc at its campus. The session aimed with an intention of changing/revolutionizing general perceptions regarding spirituality, religion and people’s way of life and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Campaign.Geeta Didi, Chief of Brahma Kumaris from Mount Abu spoke on a wide spectrum of themes such as: Stress Free Lifestyle, Leadership Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Art of Right Thinking, Living Values, Exploring Inner Powers, Self Management, Harmony in Relationships and the Practical Technique of Rajyoga Meditation.

According to Anita Didi, Centre Incharge, Maharashtra, slight change in our thought process can change everything drastically. It is our thoughts that determine our actions and these actions form the basis of our personality. She asked the students, “How many of you are still thinking about your day time work”. Almost everybody raised their hands! Most of us live our lives with our thoughts either in the past or in the future but never in the moment. We often believe that we have no control over thoughts but that is not so.Spirituality is all about what, how and when we should think, because the energy that powers our actions and interactions is the energy of thought. When we take care of that inner energy, we are able to sustain our peace and happiness. When we are peaceful and happy, we feel comfortable. In this stage of comfort we can feel others and love them. And when we love, we get love in return. This is what makes us into kings because when you get love, you get everything!”

Madam Chanchal Jatana and Dr Rama, Incharges Rajpura while blessing the occasion, said that cultivation of core values such as truth, peace, love and righteousness can help us regain inner powers which in turn would enable us to infuse and spread human values for individual and social well-being. She said regular practice of spiritual wisdom and raj-yoga meditation is essential to enhance inner powers, health, harmony and happiness in self and society.Prof B.S. Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh while thanking felt the need of the teachings and education about the benefits of meditation and mindfulness in today’s hectic world; Promote and support healthy living through proper diet and positive mental health for all of us.
