Director, RDD, Kashmir today reviewed the progress of various works under different schemes at Dak Bungalow here.The Director was informed that a total of 6672 works were taken up during the financial year, which includes 3018 spill over works and 3654 new works, out of which 3130 works have been completed till date. It was given out that 88883 job cards have been issued in the district so far, which also includes 2431 job cards for persons belonging to Schedule Tribe category. Moreover, employment generation under MGNREGA was also reviewed during the meeting.Director stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure that 100 percent physical and financial targets are achieved within the stipulated timeframe.Assistant Commissioner Development, Block development Officers and other officials of RDD were present during the meeting.
