Lawrence Public Senior Sec. School, Sector 51 wore a merry look on the juncture of “Christmas celebrations “in the school campus here today.The entire school was decorated with balloons, bells, booties, stars, wraths and a colossal Christmas tree etc. The students were dressed up like Mother Merry, father , King , santa Clasus, Christmas tree, snowman, Disney characters, Shepherds and Baby Jesus.A very colorful cultural fiesta began with play depicting the birth of Jesus and the reason how and when the celebrations of Christmas started. The audience was enthralled by the tunes of traditional Carols sung by the tiny tots. Later , children danced to the tunes of “jingle Bell Jungle Bell Jingle all the way…”An enormous Christmas tree was decorated in the school with their own type of decorations .The principal of the school Veena Malhotra appraised the efforts of the little ones as well as the teachers to welcome the festival. She wished Merry Christmas and very Happy and prosperous New Year to all the students and the staff.
