PDP General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir while conducting an extensive four day tour of Pahalgam Constituency said that government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed for socio-economic transformation of people across the State and the government has launched number of developmental schemes for the purpose.According to a statement issued to KNS, Mir interacted with the locals to ascertain the status of various local grievances. He held back-to-back organizational meetings at the Halqa level of Zone Pahalgam with Halqa presidents and party delegates and sought the status of various measures that are underway to strengthen the party at the grass-roots level and reiterated party's commitment to involve local youth in evolving solutions to local issues.The PDP General Secretary asked party workers to reach out to the youth and give them a channel to contribute to the progress and growth of Pahalgam.Speaking to various deputations, who called on Mir at his Pahalgam residence, he said that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has given focused attention on development of Pahalgam which was earlier ignored by previous government for ill designed political motives.
