A delegation of Pahalgam Hotel and Restaurant Owners’ Association Friday called on the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, and hailed his decision to convene the first meeting of the newly-constituted J&K Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) at Pahalgam.The meeting discussed several issues related to making Pahalgam an all-season destination.Led by its president, Asif Burza, the hoteliers also presented a memorandum to the Chief Minister highlighting their demands which among others include creation of infrastructural facilities like ski lifts and snow beaters, putting in place a uniform facade of shops in the market place, construction of common STPs in second and third phases, grant of permission for carrying out minor repairs of hotels in a hassle-free manner and renewal of leases.The Chief Minister assured the delegation of getting the issues raised examined for appropriate necessary action.
