Reiterating Government’s commitment to improve socio-economic conditions of downtrodden and backward communities, Minister of State for PHE, Forests, Animal Husbandry, Irrigation & Flood Control, has said that Mufti Sayeed led dispensation is well aware about the public problems and well-knit strategy is being formulated to address them on priority. He said people friendly policies and progressive developmental initiatives of government will lead J&K to an era of peace, prosperity and development.The Minister said this while addressing series of public meetings at Chatripora, Gasran and Pahloo blocks of Noorabad Constituency in Kulgam district.

The Minister said no stone will be  left unturned to ensure availability of all basic facilities to people including supply of drinking water, electricity, ration, better road networks besides quality education, and better healthcare facilities. He said people will witness a massive development across the State in coming months as government is working hard for ensuring cent percent benefit of State and centrally sponsored welfare schemes to the people.On the occasion, Mr. Paddar distributed cheques worth Rs 6 lakh among 40 IAY beneficiaries of Pahlo block. He also announced Rs 20 lakh for protection bund at Vaishew Nallah and upgradation of roads, lanes and drains. He also provided Rs 3 lakh for upgradation of power transformer, wires and electric poles to improve supply of power.He also gave on spot directions for providing timber to the beneficiaries without any hassle.Mr. Padder said that government is giving focused attention towards the welfare of youth and policies are underway for the development and welfare of unemployed youth.
