Militant outfit Tehreek-ul-Mujhadeen Thursday said that the grenade attack carried out by the outfit on Police Station Khanyar injured many government forces personnel and it also claimed the life of a CRPF man.In a statement to CNS, TeM while claiming the responsibility of the Khanyar attack said that its militants lobbed a grenade over a CRPF vehicle passing nearby Khanyar Police Station. “Many policemen were also injured in the attack. “The attack was carried out to avenge the anti-people actions of police which arrest and torture innocent youth in the area,” the statement reads.Stating that local policemen are not its target, the outfit said that Indian security installations and Indian forces are on its radar. “Our target are also those SOG men who even after being warned harass the common and innocent people. These SOG men should stop harass and arrest innocent people. For safety purposes, we appeal people to maintain distance from Indian security installations and government troopers,” the statement reads. (CNS)
