On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, a function was organized at Raj Bhavan here yesterday in which Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor and Mrs. Usha Vohra, First Lady, celebrated the festival of lights with the officers and staff of the Governor’s Secretariat and personnel of J&K Police and CRPF who are deployed for providing security arrangements at the Raj Bhavan. This event, organized in the attractive lawns of Raj Bhavan, made the auspicious occasion a memorable one for the invited staff and security personnel. The Governor, and the First Lady, extended Diwali greetings and offered sweets to all those assembled on the occasion. They interacted with the members of staff of the Governor’s Secretariat and the security personnel and wished them and their families well-being and prosperity.Mr. Navin K. Choudhary, Principal Secretary to the Governor, was present on the occasion.
