pisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu while taking stock of Eid arrangements here today directed for ensuring availability of essentials including rice, atta, sugar, kerosene oil and LPG cylinders besides asked for intensifying market checking to regulate the prices of essential commodities.pisional Commissioner, Jammu alongwith a team of pisional level officers visited different mosques and shrines of the Jammu city to review the preparations  being put in for the devotees in view of Eid-ul-Azha.Among others, IGP Rajesh Kumar, DIG Jammu Shakeel Beig, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Ajeet Kumar Sahu, SSP Traffic, SP North J. S. Johar, Administrator Auqaf Raj Mohammad, Member Majzid Committee Salim Khan, other senior officers were also present.

pisional Commissioner during his visit to Eidgah and other Masjid enjoined upon the officers to ensure cleanliness in and around these shrines besides asked for better transport facilities for the devotees. He also directed for regulating smooth traffic and security arrangements.Shantmanu also laid stressed for ensuring availability of quality edibles and to curb hoarding, black marketing and profiteering.p Com urged on the officers for ensuring buffer stock of the essential commodities besides taking necessary steps for maintaining price line of vegetables, mutton, poultry and cheese.
