Congress Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh today said that there was total collapse of law and order in Punjab and the criminals were having a field day.In an informal interaction with reporters in Ludhiana outskirts where he was received by the Congress leaders including Pawan Dewan, Milkiat Singh Dakha, Jagpal Singh Khangura, Gurmail Pahalwan and others, while on his way to Moga, Capt Amarinder said, Punjab was a fit case for President’s rule.He said, nobody was feeling safe in Punjab. He pointed out, Moga was not the only incident that took place as such incidents of serious nature were taking place in Punjab every other day.

The former Chief Minister said, the Badals had lost all the moral authority to govern as they had mixed their own vested interest with the government. He said, they were more busy in amassing personal wealth by hook or the crook and that is the reason the situation was deteriorating day by day.Among others present on the occasion included Major Singh Mullanpur, Satwinder Jawaddi, Baljinder Bunty, GS Mand, Sunny Kainth, Vinod Bathla, Rohit Pahwa.
