National Conference (NC) Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani Thursday said the party is deliberating at present over what went wrong and where during the Assembly elections.Nasir told KNS that the hectic deliberations at party level were on so that the ground reports over the recent polls could be ascertained threadbare. “We are going through the series of meetings and are taking reports from our workers and activists at large,” Nasir said.Over the delay in the formation of new government in Jammu and Kashmir, NC provincial president said that same is hindering relief and rehabilitation efforts in the flood ravaged state of Jammu and Kashmir. “We ahead of the announcement of polls had said that elections would badly affect the relief operations in the state but as the polls were held, now the delay in new government formation is also affecting the flood sufferers.”While reiterating that the Government of India must not delay further the relief package for Jammu and Kashmir’s flood victims, Nasir said that the proposal submitted by the state government to GOI must be approved at the earliest so that the flood victims are provided a sigh of relief.
