Punjab Education Department Settles 45 Cases In Public Meeting

The Punjab Education Department conducted a Public meeting to settle all those cases pertaining to the employees of education department upon which Hon’ble Courts has announced its verdict.  Disclosing this here today Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Education Minister, Punjab said that the public meeting 88 such cases were presented before the committee and out of it 45 cases were disposed off. The Minister said that 15 another cases were forwarded to the appropriate authority to take action in light of the decision of the Hon’ble Courts. He further said that apart from these 88 cases the grievances of another 98 employees were listened to sympathetically and the concerned authorities have been asked to take action for the redresal of grievances. The members of the committee were Mr. Rahul Bhandari, Secretary School Education, Mr. Harbans Singh, OSD (Litigation), Mr. Kamal Kumar, DPI (Secondary Education), Mrs. Darshan Kaur, DPI (Elemenatary Education) and Mrs. Pankaj Sharma, Director, SCERT.
