45 Days Dairy Technology Diploma Starts From May 7-Ranike

With a view to providing update knowledge of Commercial dairy training to the youth, the Punjab government has decided to start 45 days new dairy technology course from May 7, 2012 at seven centers in Punjab. 

Disclosing this here today  Gulzar Singh Ranike, Animal Husbandry Dairy Development and Fisheries Minister Punjab said that this training would be provided at Beeja (Ludhiana), Tarntaran, Phagwara (Kapurthala), Chatamali (Ropar), Gill (Moga), Abul Khurana ( Muktsar) and Verka (Amritsar). 

The state Dairy Development Department would provide new techniques for dairy farming, better shed design and cattle feed to the milk producers to increase the milk production in the state. 

The minister further said that anybody above the age of 18 to 45 undertake this training at their nearest training centre. All Matriculate and above qualified persons are eligible for this training. Walk in interview-cum-selection will be held for this training at Dairy Training Centre in Beeja, Tarntaran, Phagwara, Chatamali, Gill, Abul Khurana and Verka on April 24, 2012 at 10.00 am, Candidates should bring four passport size photographs along with requisite certificate at the time of interview. 

Minister further said that the candidate who would successful complete this training would be honoured with certificate. Besides the preservation of semen straws, the Liquid Nitrogen Container would also be provided on subsidy. Fore more information in this regards can be had from Telephone No. 0172-2700228.
