Panchayat Polls: Training imparted to 6000 polling staff members in Rajouri

In view of Panchayat Elections, around 6000 polling staff members of District Rajouri were acquainted with the polling process at different locations during the 1st phase of training programme in two days here at Rajouri.On the 2nd day, a total of 2500 polling staff members were imparted with the training, being conducted in block wise and phase manner, for the smooth conduct of the Panchayat elections.The training was imparted to polling parties for Blocks Doongi, Dhangri and Darhal at Conference hall of PG College, Rajouri on day 02. The training process was coordinated by Nodal Officer, Manpower and Training, ACD Rajouri.The training for polling parties of Blocks Thanamandi and Planger was held at GDC Thanamandi which was coordinated by SDM Thanamamdi.While, the training for polling parties of Block Kalakote and Moughla was held at Dakbanglow Kalakote and coodrinated by SDM Kalakote.The training was moderated by the Nodal Officer for Training, Assistant Commissioner Development, Rajouri, Akhter Qazi, under the overall supervision and directions of District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad and under the close observation of ADC Rajouri Sher Singh.

The polling parties were made aware of their role and responsibilities for the successful conduct of Panchayat Elections in the district. They were further advised to go through the Election handbooks for acquiring proper knowledge about the poll process.District Administration assured all facilities and proper support to Returning, Assistant Returning Officers and other polling staff.The District Level Master Trainers informed that the polling staff is now well versed to conduct the election process to strengthen the Democratic process.The District Administration has complimented the DLMTs, Prof Iqbal  Raina, Dr Naseem Malik and Abdul Jabbar for their strenuous efforts to train such a huge number of polling staff in such a short span .The training to polling staff at PG College Rajouri was imparted by Amim-ul-Hassan, Master, HS Kalalkass, Ateeq Ur Rehman Tr. PS Chambian, Mohammad Shafiq Khan, Tr.MS Sarala Badhanoo, Rafaqat Hussain, Tr. MS Sarotha, Ayaz Mehmood Malik, Tr. BPS Kakar Mohalla, Majeeb Ur Rehman, Tr. GPS Thanamandi.The training at GDC Thanamandi was conducted by Ahsan-Ul-Haq, Master,HS Mangota and Mumtaz Aziz, Master,HS Nerojal.The training at Dakbanglow Kalakote was conducted by Mukhtar Ahmed, Tr., GMS Khawas and Kirpal Singh, Tr.HS Kundal.
