The four-day long Shimla Festival 2018 concluded here yesterday night. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur presided over the concluding ceremony.The Chief Minister evinced keen interest in the cultural programmes presented during the last cultural evening of the festival, in which noted Bollywood star Mohit Chauhan was the main attraction. He enthralled the gathering with his soulful Bollywood as well as Himachali songs.The Chief Minister also released the souvenir brought out by the organisers on the occasion and distributed prizes to the winners of inter college dance completion and inter school painting completion on the occasion.The Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman, Shimla Festival Organising Committee Amit Kashyap honoured the Chief Minister on the occasion.Wife of the Chief Minister Dr. Sadhna Thakur, Speaker HP Vidhan Sabha Dr. Rajiv Bindal, Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Additional Chief Secretary Home B.K. Aggrawal, Additional Chief Secretary cum Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Principal Secretary Prabodh Saxena and other senior officers of the State Government were also present on the occasion.
