Member of Parliament and Congress candidate from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu has onslaught SAD-BJP alliance. He said both the parties of alliance are opportunist. Slamming the alliance Mr Bittu said BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi thinks himself above the party, while Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal supporting BJP in Punjab and Indian National Lok Dal in Haryana that used to oppose BJP. Mr. Bittu said both the parties can do anything to come in power.Slamming SAD-BJP Mr. Bittu said the alliance had made several promises with the people of Punjab during assembly elections, but the promises have not fulfilled even after 24 months have been passed. Mr. Bittu was addressing election meetings at Rajguru nagar and Malerkotla House. MLA Bharat Bhushan Ashu accompanied him.
Mr. Bittu said the alliance has been unmasked in the state and people would vote against them in the election. Narendra Modi has been thinking himself above the party and all senior leaders of BJP have been ignored. The SAD has imposed Property tax on the public. Its ministers involved in Drug peddling, but the BJP is mum over the issues.Mr. Bittu further added that in its election manifesto released during assembly elections-2012 the SAD-BJP alliance has promised to create employment for the youth and to give Rs. 1,000 as allowance to unemployed, but did nothing.Chiding Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal Bittu said Badal had made tall claims that he would convert Ludhiana into California and will bring Metro train to Ludhiana and to make Punjab a power surplus state, but the claims were nothing more than castle in the air. The people of Ludhiana have been deprived of basic facilities. Industry has been suffering unscheduled power cuts. The industry has been moving out from the state due to adverse policies of SAD-BJP alliance.
Mr. Bittu said, his aim is to Bring PGIMER to Ludhiana and to give Ludhiana clean environment. He will give better roads, water-sewerage and employment to Ludhiana residents. He will also work for development of industry. He has chalked out a plan for it and started working on it.Mr. Bittu on Sunday also held a meeting the members of Pakshi Sewa Samiti at Rakh Bagh. He showed concern over decreasing population of birds and polluted environment. He said, birds and animals are national asset and he would work to save the birds and animals.Mr. Bittu also held meeting with people at Mangat Park Shanti Niketan. He said for the development of Ludhiana the centre has given fund from jawahar Lal Nehru National Mission to Ludhiana.
