JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik on Fridaycondemned the “ongoing repression” in Kashmir and said that “horrible rise” in innocent killings is a manipulation of frustration of New Delhi and local government. In a statement issued to GNS, Malik said, “The indiscriminate firings and showering of pellets which is resulting in martyrdom of our unarmed innocents and blinding of young boys and girls is nothing but naked state terrorism.”He said that innocent Kashmiris are falling to the “state terrorism” of India and hundreds of thousands have and are being injured on a daily basis. “The ongoing killings, maiming, mass blinding, blasting and burning down of properties, incarcerating thousands under black laws like PSA, humiliating and beating Kashmiri youth an roads and other oppressive tactics like these are going on from last many decades but India by using these harsh measures has failed to contain or defeat Kashmiri resistance and struggle for freedom which is legal and based on genuineness and truth,” he said.Meanwhile, a party statement said that as per JRL program, JKLF leaders and activists including Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Mushtaq Ajmal, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Bashir Kashmiri, Muhammad Sideeq Shah, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Ashraf bin Salam, Meraj ud din Parray, Imtiyaz Ahmad and others along with people from many walks of life including senior resistance leader Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi gathered at Madeena Chowk and marched towards Lal Chowk.JKLF Leader Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi addressed the participants and strongly condemned the spree of innocent killings, the statement said.
