"History of Bharatiya Janata Party has been a history of austerity. If we look towards the top leaders of the party, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit DeenDayal Upadhyay, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani, the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President Amit Shah, the result of the tenacity of these great figures is that today BJP has reached from 2 seats to 282 seats and presently our party is ruling in 21 states. It is the results of the penance of these great men that today the BJP became a huge tree. The Bharatiya Janata Party is today the world's largest Democratic Party. Unlike in the past, the augmentation of the respect of Indian diaspora is credited to our country's Prime Minister NarendraModi." This was stated by Bharatiya Janata Party's National Spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra during the function organized on the fortnight of the establishment day at party office Kamalam Sector 33A, Chandigarh. He said that there are only two political parties in the country, which are cadre based, the BJP and the Left parties.  All the other parties have become  Pariwarwadi, including the Congress party, whose base is getting eeroded with every passing day.He further said that the people of the country have shown faith in the BJP in 2014 Loksabha election and have given an absolute majority to the BJP for the formation of the NarendraModi government, in the name of development. The time has come to fulfill the faith which the people of the country saw in the eyes of our Prime Minister. Now all the party workers will have to become warriors to fulfill this dream till the BJP government is formed in all the States of the country. He took on the Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi and said that it seems that the opposition is still trying to make a fool of the people of the country by making false statements against BJP. They are dreaming of getting power in the country by making false propaganda which will prove to be a dream for them now.

The people of the country prefer development of the country. Congress has made false commitments and indulged in divisive politics, but andnow the public of our country is awake. Because the BJP has adopted the politics of development for everyone without any differentiation. It is a party with ideological policies, whose leaders discarded the covetousness of politics and raised their voice even when the country's Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had developed the politics of discrimination. At that time, Baba Saheb Dr. BhimRaoAmbedkar also highlighted Nehru's wrong policies in his resignation from Mr Nehru’s cabinet.Surprisingly, why does Rahul Gandhi not see that the Modi government is the government of the interests of the poor, the farmers and the Dalits while the other and his governments have done nothing for them till today.Through the forum, he asked Rahul Gandhi why for 70 years his party's government had not opened saving accounts of more than 50 percent of the country's population.By merely saying it does not prove to be beneficial for any class. Whereas the prime minister has run several development plans in just 4 years, whether it is Jan DhanYojana or Insurance scheme, every poor citizen of the country’s life is safenow. Today, the people of the country started getting electricity where there was no electricity, even if the work of laying the cables in the middle of the sea, the Modi government has done all this.  Why Congress did not remember making the toilets in the country. Due to lack of toilets in schools,  girls of our country were deprived of getting education in school.Prime Minister NarendraModi, who is Chai Wala, proved that the person making tea is a hardworking, honest, and a scrupulous person, only then in such a short time, he started such schemes for the poor people of the country which we have only dreamt of. Our Prime Minister, NarendraModi, believes Nation first, then Party. He himself proved this by taking very tough decision like demonetizationto curb black money.

PrabhatJha, National Vice President and in charge of the Chandigarh Unit outline the journey of BJP from Jansangh to BJP.He said that now a new era has begun in the country's politics and now it is the supreme duty of all to keep this juggernaut moving forward. He said that history has proven that all the BJP workers are disciplined soldiers of the party.Providing information about the programme, RavinderPathania, the convener of the party's media department, said that the forum was administered by the State General Secretary ,Chandrashekhar.State organization Secretary Dinesh Kumar, Vice President RaghubirLalArora and RambirBhatti,General Secretary Prem Kaushik, Former State PresidntKamala Sharma, former MP Satyapal Jain, Mayor DeveshMoudgil, senior deputy mayor Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, deputy mayor VinodAgrawal, market committee Chairman, Kulwinder Kala, Chairman of Panchayatsamiti, Nanak Singh, Deputy Chairman, jilaparishad, SukhwantKaurSantoshRanawere also participated in the programme.Commencing the programme, President of party’s Chandigarh unit, Sanjay Tandon welcomed the in-charge PrabhatJha and then highlighted the history of Chandigarh BJP. During the program, he told that the Chandigarh BJP workers also worked hard to sow this plant with their blood. The result of this is that for the first time in Chandigarh today, almost all the elected positions are occupied by BJP workers. An indication of the people’s trust in BJP’s policies.BJP has wrested 10 major political positions from the Congress party in the city.  Today, BJP has its own Member of Parliament, Mayor,Senior Deputy Mayor, Deputy Mayor, 20 Councillors, ZilaParishad, Market committee, panchayatsamiti  chairmen and deputy chairmen also . Along with this, there are 6 Sarpanchs and more than 100 panchs in the village Panchayats supported by the BJP, which is history in itself.
