Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary today inaugurated a transformer of 100 KV Capacity at village Kotli Muffi in Suchetgarh.The transformer installed at a cost of Rs 4.5 lakh out of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) would benefit about 100 families of the village in terms of providing improved power supply.Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the transformer, the Minister said that the present government is giving focused attention on sustainable development by effectively implementing State and Centrally Sponsored Schemes in the State.  He said that various initiatives have been taken up under power sector to improve the power scenario in the area. He also asked people to judiciously use power.

Making a mention of water supply and blacktopping of roads, the Minister said that almost all the internal links of the Constituency have been blacktopped; adding that more tube wells would be installed to meet the drinking water and irrigation water requirement in the area in near future.Referring to present Government’s commitment with regard to fulfilling developmental needs of people, the Minister said that several initiatives have been taken in this regard. He called upon people to come forward and avail the benefits of the welfare schemes to ameliorate the socio-economic profile of rural populace.
