Singh Badnore was ‘At Home’ with distinguished citizens of Punjab and Chandigarh at Punjab Raj Bhavan.The invitees from different walks of life started converging at Punjab Raj Bhavan before the start of the ceremony to greet the Governor. The pathway of Punjab Raj Bhavan was tastefully decorated to receive the distinguished guests. Vice Chancellors of various Universities of Punjab and Chandigarh were also present.The Punjab Governor, Shri V.P. Singh Badnore intermingled with the august gathering. He interacted with the elderly people, serving and retired army officers on this special day. The Governor said that the nation was proud of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters in the freedom struggle.Progressive farmers, educationists, intellectuals and social activists from different parts of the State especially came to greet His Excellency on this auspicious occasion.
