All the employees are inseparable part of the Government and should work sincerely for the development of the State. This was stated by Shri Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, while addressing a mammoth gathering of H.P. Secretariat Employees Confederation at Secretariat complex here today.He said that Employees are the backbone of the government and play an important role for all-round development of the State. He said that the welfare of the employees would be taken care of as they were part and parcel of the Government. He said that the Congress Government had never discriminated with employees and had always cordial relations with them and more over believes in impartial, clean, efficient and effective administration with collective efforts of all. He said that overall development of the State would be the main objective of the Government.Chief Minister said that the employees working in State secretariat should work sincerely as are sitting at the hub of affairs and the government as well as people of the State expect from them speedy implementation of policies and programmes for welfare of the society as a whole. He said that ‘vikas vikas vikas and sampooran vikas’ was our main objective. Shri Virbhadra Singh urged the employees to work in unison for achieving the aims and objectives as prescribed by the Government from time to time for socio-economic development of the state and Nation as a whole.Chief Minister said that he considers the people of Himachal a family as a whole and hoped that the newly elected Government with all co-operation from the State’s employees would cater benefits to all sections of the society. He said that the government would extend all its support to the employees and also lauded the efforts of the employees who had congregated under the banner of HP Secretariat Employees Mahasangh, adding that this would facilitate smooth functioning of employees and well as the Government.He assured the employees of all possible help and co-operation and said that all the demands of the association would be looked into sympathetically and he would be available to all of them round the clock. He thanked them for giving him a warm welcome.Daulat Ram Chauhan , Chairman of HP Secretariat Employees Confederation welcomed the Chief Minister and felicitated him for his acquittal from the infamous CD case. Referring Shri Virbhadra Singh as ‘Jan Nayak’ of the State he said that he is the only one who understands the problems of the State employees. He said the rights of the employees were out-rightly sidetracked during the previous government regime and number of employees.were victimized on political grounds. He also welcomed the decision taken in the Cabinet to reinstate the employees in the State Secretariat who were send back to their parent Departments. Earlier, Shri Bhagat Thakur, Chief Advisor of the confederation welcomed the Chief Minister and also congratulated him for his acquittal from the CD case filed against him by the previous Government. He assured the Chief Minister that all the Secretariat employees would work hard and effectively. Shri Sundar Lal Sharma, Vice President of the confederation also spoke on the occasion. Shri Ugar Sain Negi proposed vote of thanks and Shri Sanjeet Sharma, General Secretary of the confederation conducted the proceedings.Thakur Singh Bharmouri, Minister, Shri Neeraj Bharti, Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS), Shri Vinay Kumar CPS, Shri Anirudh Singh MLA and Shri S.Roy Chief Secreatry were also present on the occasion amongst others.
