The District Information Centre today organized a symposium on the hazards of “Drug addiction" here at Green Model Academy High School Bhaderwah.The Principal of the school Anayatullah Butt, was the chief guest at the even which was attended by staff and students.In all 15 students of the school participated in the contest and highlighted the harmful effects of Drug Addiction.Yameen Butt of class 10th was adjudged first, while Mohammad Rizwan of class 5th and Mehnoor of class 7th bagged 2nd and 3rd position respectively.The Principal appreciated the efforts of Information Department for creating awareness among the students about the harmful effects of Drug addiction by organizing such events. He urged the department to organize more such programmes in the near future.Later, prizes and certificates were distributed among the participants by the officials of the Information Department.
