The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara today convened a meeting of officials of revenue sector to review the matters related to jamabandi, girdawari, land acquisition/requisition, maintaining of daily dairy, mutations, report under Rabi and Kharif girdawari , illegal encroachment from state land, removal of under illegal occupation of state land and status of Roshni Act through the revenue officials within the stipulated time frame.The chair was appraised by the Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kupwara about the work regarding the Girdawari, Roznaamcha, and other revenue matters done from 2014 till date.The Deputy Commissioner impressed upon the concerned officials to work with added zeal and dedication and take all necessary steps to ease the problems of the local people at their level. He also directed to complete the pendency within next 15 days through involving the village level field functionaries like namberdars and chowkidars to settle the pending cases in Revenue camps under their jurisdiction.
