District Magistrate today convened a meeting to review the arrangements for celebration of Kheer Bawani Mela which is scheduled to be held from May 31 to June 05, 2017 at Tikker Kupwara.During the meeting, District Magistrate took stock of various essential services including arrangements for uninterrupted power & water supply, security arrangements, sanitation, medical and transport facilities for devotees, besides repairs of roads leading to Asthapan at Tikker. He directed the concerned to ensure proper cleanliness in and around the mela besides providing adequate ration supplies to people of the area.He asked all concerned agencies to work in close coordination with respective management committee to provide hassle free services to the yatries at Asthapan site.
