Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, today said that private schools are essential contributors of government in imparting the quality education and play an important role by assisting the government in imparting education to masses.The Minister was interacting with  the delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Un-aided Private School Coordination Committee (JKUPSCC) which was headed by Prof. Dr. CL Vishen.During the meeting the representatives of JKUPSCC raised various issues regarding the smooth functioning of private schools in the state which include enhancement of annual fee, non-implementation of SRO 123, single window system for affiliation of schools, non implementation of different government orders, simplification of submission of birth certificates and other issues. The representatives said that some of the unnecessary knots in the system neither help the public nor the quality of education.The Minister gave patient hearing to the representatives and promised them that government will look into different aspects of these issues and solve them one by one for improving the quality of education and betterment of educational system.Bukhari said that private schools are bound to give the facilities to the students as per the fee they are paying  and asked them to employ the teachers with good educational qualification to improve educational standards.
