Fresh snowfall occurred in the higher reaches on Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday as rain lashed the plains."There has been fresh snowfall in Pahalgam and other places in the higher reaches of the state during the last 24 hours," said an official of the Met department."Erratic weather conditions will continue to affect Jammu and Kashmir during the next two to three days, but there is no chance of bad weather causing any major disruption anywhere during this period," he added.Srinagar recorded 5.6 degree Celsius, Pahalgam 6.6, Gulmarg 24, Kargil 1.6, Jammu 2, Batote 30.2, Bannihal 24.2 and Bhaderwah 6.4 millimeters of rain/snow during the last 24 hours as per the Met office.The minimum temperature recorded in Srinagar was 3.1 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam minus 0.2 and Gulmarg minus 3 on Wednesday, while it was minus 2.6 degree Celsius in Kargil and minus 6.1 in Leh town of Ladakh region."Jammu city recorded 12.6 degree Celsius, Katra 10.9, Batote 3.7, Bannihal 0.8 and Bhaderwa h 2 as the night's lowest temperatures," the official added.
