Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today formally launched campaign against drugs and deployed its candidates and volunteers across the state to collect data on drug victims and de-addiction centres.The entire AAP team of Punjab and its senior national leaders including Sanjay Singh and Durgesh Pathak were present at a thanks giving function for party volunteers at Nakodar.The party unveiled the road map to counter drug menace in Punjab, which was one of the key promises, in the AAP’s manifesto.Among the state leaders, convener Gurpreet Singh Waraich, MPs Bhagwant Mann and Prof. Sadhu Singh and HS Phoolka and all 117 candidates of Punjab assembly were present on the occasionDurgesh Pathak announced that AAP would cut drug supply chain within 24 hours and entire drug menace would be wiped out from the state within one month after formation of AAP Government.He told party candidates and volunteers to collect the data on drugs in specified forms within one week.

 The candidates were told to collect information on paramedic staff and present status of treatment in all government de-addiction centres within three days.Pathak while expressing gratitude to party volunteers told them to accept the formation of government with humbleness and always look forward for welfare of society & state . He added getting power is easy but making a healthy society is most difficult task.Sanjay Singh while addressing the volunteers said that he was overwhelmed by the support and warmth by the people of Punjab and stated AAP would be forming government in Punjab with thumping majority.

He assured the volunteers and people of Punjab that AAP would fulfil each and every promise it had made in its poll manifesto.  He told party candidates and volunteers to get ready for a long battle to make Punjab a happy and prosperous state.Bhagwant Mann while addressing the party volunteers said that big victory of AAP would bring bigger responsibility, but we will celebrate it when we will be able to end the miseries of all sections of society be it poor farmers, unemployed youth and dalits.He said that AAP in Punjab would implement the road-map given by National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.Prominent among others who addressed the gathering include Kanwar Sandhu, Sukhpal Khaira, Harjot Singh Bains, Prof. Baljinder Kaur, Jaskirat Kaur Mann, Kultar Singh, Karanvir Singh Tiwana, Jassi Jasraj and Aman Arora.

AAP to meet Punjab Governor on Wheat Procurement

 

National Spokesman of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Sanjay Singh at Press Conference at Jalandhar revealed that the party seized of the wheat procurement season starting from April 1st and in this connection party would prepare an action plan tomorrow and will meet the Governor of Punjab to seek his intervention for release of Cash Credit Limit (CCL) by the Reserve Bank of India.Sanjay Singh was accompanied  by senior AAP leader HS Phoolka.Expressing concern over inaction by the outgoing SAD-BJP Government, Sanjay Singh said that farmers were left in the lurch and they have not started the process of obtaining CCL.  He said that AAP government would also hold an inquiry into the multi-crore Food Scam in Punjab, in which son-in-law of CM, Adesh Pratap Singh Kairon was directly involved.Sanjay Singh while replying to media queries said that Bikram Majithia would be arrested before April 15 and all those involved in drug trade would be behind bars within a month’s  time.
