Joint Director Horticulture Jammu, Tarvinder Singh today flagged-off a group of Orchardists for training under Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH).The orchardist will visit fruit orchard at SKUAST-J Chatha, Advance Centre of Horticulture at Udheywalla, Sub Station of Rainfed, Raya, Govt. Fruit Plant Nurseries Vijaypur (Samba), Dagoji Bhag (Reasi), Poni (Reasi), Garhi Mishriwalla (Jammu), Mango Village Akhnoor etc. During the tour orchardists will be acquainted with orchard management practices, budding grafting operations, dry land horticulture, etc. Deputy Director Horticulture, Vijay Gupta, Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu, Yogesh Kumar Kesar, District Level SMS’s Plant Pathology/ Entomology/Pomology and HDO’s were also present on the occasion.
