A group of 34 students of Indo Global College of Architecture participated in Annual NASA (National Association for Students of Architecture) Convention held at Manav Rachna International University . National Association of Students of Architecture is a National level student’s body comprising of various architecture colleges. It holds conventions at Zonal and National level every year and facilitates interactions among students of architecture colleges. The Convention was attended by 2000 Students 59 Architecture Colleges from various states of India. The theme for the convention was ASKEW; it describes rejection of right angles and skewed or twisted and fluid forms.During the Convention, the students of Indo Global College participated in the various academic activities and competitions namely in various workshops and activities – bamboo workshop, like drawing, painting, elocution, quizzes, theatre ,Clay modelling, Photography, Theatre and Architectural Journalism and exceled .
Apart from Indo Global also selected for Landscape Trophy.Students also got a chance to showcase their creative talent in Sculptures, Wall paintings and Models. In the study based workshop Students learnt different architectural Softwares like Revit, Auto-CAD, Rhino and Grasshopper. On the last day at the convention a world record breaking foot painting was made giving the message on peace. The painting was 2500 meters large. 59 colleges with more than 2000 students came together in creating the world record. While speaking at the moment Chairman Sukhdev Singla Indo Global Said that the epitome of all that NASA stands for competition, learning and interaction. At this culmination, students from across the nation and the world, come together to celebrate architecture in its truest form. The main vision of the annual convention is architectural evolution. He further added that this will prove helpful for future architects to learn different type of modern and primitive architectural designs according to the requirement of particular place.
