District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz today convened a meeting with officers and representatives of various religious organizations to review the security and other arrangements for smooth celebration of Eid–ul-Azha.ACR, Vivekk Puri, Executive Engineers of PHE, PDD, AD Food, Tehsildar, DySP, EO MC Ramban, members of Masjid Committee, president Beopar Mandal, social workers attended the meeting.
Besides discussing the arrangements to be put in place by the concerned authorities, DDC stressed upon maintaining better coordination among the allied departments and Masjid committees to ensure adequate facilities to the devotees.The DDC directed the Health, MC, CAPD, Legal Metrology and Police Department to conduct regular market inspections to check prices and maintain quality of commodities. The issues related to security and traffic management were also discussed in the meeting.
