Neha Pendse was a big fan of Sridevi since she was 5 years old. When she got to perform the role of Sanjana who is sexy yet authoritative boss, she could relate to the role of Sridevi from the movie Laadla as both the characters are quiet similar. Hence, as she wanted to master the role, she watched Laadla for more than 50 times on her way to the set, during breaks, and so on.Neha who is gathering fame as the sexiest boss on television till date, has revealed her on-screen inspiration recently. While talking about it Neha said, “Every 80’s girl wanted to be like Sridevi. When the character was narrated to me, I could relate a lot to Sridevi’s character from Laadla. She is my role model in multiple ways. Getting inspired by her and being able to play a boss like her is an achievement and challenge in itself. The least that I could do is study the minutest details of her character and try to inculcate the same. I hope I’m able to portray a boss like her.”
