Aam Aadmi Party’s senior leader Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi slammed SAD and BJP for playing politics of divide and rule by creating hatred among the different communities for their nefarious political motives and claimed that the strong traditional bonds of communal harmony and amity among the different communities shall never allowed to be affected by AAP in society.Addressing a largely attended political rally at Dana Mandi Salem Tabri in Ludhiana East constituency last night, Mr. Ghuggi accused the BJP and SAD of doing politics of religion to create their vote bank among particular communities even at the cost of prevailing strong social fabric in the society. He also lamented Badal govt. for totally damaging the state through corruption and drug trade and said that thousands of youth had lost their lives because of drugs and Badals were shamelessly denying even any drug problem in Punjab. He slammed the Badals for making rampant corruption and patronizing different kinds of Mafias, including of drug mafia , land mafia, transport, sand and gravel, cable mafia, recruitment etc. Mr. Ghuggi making a scathing attack on Congress said that people still remember the huge scams of lakhs of crores committed during the tnure of congress Govt. at center and Capt. Amarinder Singh’s family was facing enquiries and court trials on charges of corruption and foreign illegal transactions .
Addressing the function State president of Trade, Transport and Industry Wing Aman Arora accused Badal Govt. for completing damaging the trade and industry in Punjab during the past 9 years with their wrong policies. He said that Badals and Amrinder were misleading the people by spreading false propaganda against the AAP leaders and claimed that the people of Punjab were anxiously waiting to teach them a befitting lesson in the coming elections. He cautioned the people fromthe nefarious designs of Badal and Amrinder of alluring them through various tricks and means keeping in mind the nearing of elections. He appealed them to extend full support to AAP’s movement to change the corrupt political and governing system in Punjab.Speaking on this occasion Councilor Daljit Singh Grewal said that Badal Govt had created a complete mess in the state by indulging in rampant corruption and spreading drugs in all parts of Punjab. He said that each and every section of society was fed up from the SAD Govt. which rendered the youth jobless and forced the farmers to commit suicides. He called upon the people to extend their full support to AAP , which had launched a tirade against the corrupt system under the leadership of its national Convener and Delhi C M Arvind Kejriwal. On this occasion 10 women BJP activists joined AAP in Presence of State Observer Kapil Bharadwaj. Prominent among others who addressed the functions included State Vice President TTI Wing Gulshan Chhabra, State Gen Secy of Kisan and Labour wing Ahbaab Singh Grewal, State Jt.
